I wonder what the bonus is, and I wonder if it's a strong enough incentive.

Hopefully though, the players will be fighting for the reward AND for the club.

 

They get a reward for finishing in the league? Jesus Pardew doesn't seem to be that positive. There are at least 6 teams weaker than us, and about 5/6 that are at the same level as us and not better. I see us another 5 other teams scrapping in mid table. We'll be away from relegation.

Good. An extra bit of incentive for the players is always helpful. Should make Pardew more popular with the players and shows that everything to do with money isn't completly controlled by Ashley

Don't be daft, Tash. The bonuses will be on a sliding scale, something like this:-

1. £x for staying in EPL
2. £y for finishing in top ten
3. £z for qualifying for Europa League
4. £a for qualifying for CL
5. £b for winning FA Cup
6. £c for winning Carling Cup

Only guessing, but basically that's the way I'd draft it
