Not seen the game, so don't know if the Monegasques or Monte Carlo mob were sidling out with 5 mins to go to avoid the rush for the Daimlers, or even if there were smoke bombs and fans stood up all around the ground.
No. But a fair amount of noise considering it is a small ground not filled with loud, boisterous working class types from a port city.People stood up jumping about, waving flags.. Don't want those sort of scenes. Prince Rainier was there, unlike some owners/chairmen.
I really feel for Ranieri, my personal opinion is that he should have been given the chance to take them as far as possible in the CL.
Why do people talk like that as if it is purgatory? Even if he had relegated you, so ****ing what? Oh boo hoo, we have to drop down a division. A few years ago you'd have loved to have been in the Championship. There is such a thing as doing the right thing by a wonderful man who created a wonderful story and to callously destroy him within 9 months is a disgrace.
There's obviously a lot more to this Leicester- Ranieri story. He lost the backing of the players. Ulloa refused to play. Maybe he developed a Messiah complex (much like Wenger has) ? Intriguing.
It struck me we could have our fat guy with the microphone leading us in singing all match to improve our 'matchday experience'. That is what Monaco had anyway. What a ****ing joke.
Our match day experience isn't something to write home about. Anyone thrown out in Monaco because people complained they were making too much noise, like happened to those Poles at the KC? I wonder if making a noise is considered an offence anywhere else? I wonder if any other clubs have fans who complain about noise?
More people seemed happy that Man C lost and are out than were bothered about Wimbledon v MK Dons and the Dons losing. Funny old game.
