    Leicester now face one of

    Real Madrid
    Barcelona
    Bayern Munich
    Borussia Dortmund
    Juventus
    Probably Atletico Madrid or
    Man City/Monaco

Not seeing a good option. City would be best for the prem, as it's the only way a Premier League Team are getting to the Semis and would be Leicester best chance, having beaten them already.

Just for a bit of fun on a sunny Wednesday afternoon. I will start by saying I absolutely don't think we'll win the CL. I know we defied the odds last season but we are against world class teams now which we didn't face any last year as England doesn't have any.
However, if a second miracle was to happen, given our league position it'd be like Chelsea a few years back where 4th place doesn't get in. If this was to happen, who would we rather is the victim of the 4th place finish?
Not to upset Spurlock, RCL etc but it would be amusing to see the explosion where HAIGs head used to be if it was Spurs again and we did it!

Probably not for you as your team would be in the firing line! Anyway if you're not capable of having a sensible input on the subject you need not comment :emoticon-0148-yes:

They've changed the rules, so can't happen. Not sure what would happen if Leicester win CL and Utd the Europa whilst finishing 6th. Can we have 6 teams in next year? Not going to lose sleep over that scenario though.

I wondered after I posted actually. I know Spain had 5 this year but that was due to Sevilla and their Europa win. As you say we surely count have 6. That rule was to encourage teams to have a go at the EL more so it would be interesting to see what happens but as I say, it won't happen. But as we aren't out until we are out, it's worthy of a discussion anyway

Cheers buddy ... was a bit special tbh ...confess I thought they might get a sneaky away goal in the second half and it ending 1-1 on the night ... but we never let up the intensity and thoroughly merited the win in the end ... still pinching <laugh>

... that already happens quite regularly .... his head is still intact whilst up there and that type of explosion is often referred to as a "fart" :)

Funnily enough I'd take another Spanish team ... Bayern might have too much "nous" in terms of dealing with us ... both Real and Barca (perhaps not so Atletico under Simone) look like they could be "got at" defensively.

In reality, only getting Man City would really be 'deflating' in terms of the excitement building - even though, arguably, that would probably be our best shot at ending up in the semis <laugh> <ok>

I would second what Fosse says. Man City we would fancy our chances against. If Monaco get past them we'd have to fancy our chances against their defence (good going forwards though). Or Athletico as we have unfinished business with them and we could play them at their own game. There's a couple of teams like them where you just think it may not be over just yet.....

The fortunate thing for Leicester is they're the only team left in it that play kick n rush. They might do the impossible, again!

Kind of hope you draw Man City. They'll be favourites but I'd fancy you lot to beat them over two legs so would lump a bit on your lads to progress and look for a tidy profit.

Man City is the worst draw surely?

It would be **** to get this far without playing a big boy or at an iconic ground.
