How did the dynamite get obtained? Also, does the Mayor's double vote count towards Lynch only or Lynch and Location?
Can only think if person with dynamite is Town then he has to come clean and say so. But even if that person is lying and is Bad Guy then little point as if Bad Guy they won't admit that and can still put dynamite where ever they want eg Town location choice. Only other option would be to have split choice and so no one knows for certain where Town are going but again that is just open to late switch by Bad Guy to ensure Town go to dynamite location.
We've got no codes anyway ffs We might as well hedge our bets and split the vote across 3 locations using only 1 vote per site, as surely only those who choose the site will get to visit it? @Captainchaos. If we agree that, then we need 3 volunteers to each pick a location we've not yet visited, no one else votes, and then we'll have a pot luck chance of finding a code and if the bandits have the dynamite they'll not be able to use it as they can't jump on without exposing themselves.
Obi, did you clarify with Chaos when the dynamite needed to be placed? At the start of the day or at any time? If it's at anytime and the dynamite is in the hands of a gang member then the town really is screwed. They could just plant it just before nightfall when the location was known. We could put several locations on the same number of votes to make it possible to survive. The problem with that is the gang could just put in a late vote to prevent this. Yes that person could then be lynched the next day but there would be no town left to lynch them.
I say we don't go for a late switch and hope that the Mayor has voted. That vote alone could be enough to tip the scales. What y'all think?
Can we not withdraw all our votes and ask Chaos as a town collective that we don't want to go to any location. It not as if we can get all 3 codes before the gangs anyway.
not if we make it a draw as he will need to have logged the location prior to Night then the capt decides which location we go to. Still 50;50 but better than 1 out front.
