    I do have to sell it though which is a pain as I don't like car salespeople or tyre kickers!

    Never had an issue with ours, even when it was out of warranty. Maybe you got unlucky with a duff car.

    Yep mines an older one 05 plate. I've only had it 6 months and it's been nothing but trouble. Pain in the arse selling cars, tyre kickers, people trying to offer stupid money and no shows. That's why I'm going to a dealer, not the cheapest option. But I'll get a car with some warranty so no nasty surprises if I find any mechanical issues.

    So I got it. 56 plate 2.5tdi sport. 125k. Colour sat nav, lots of toys. Driving it home from Wales now. Very pleased.

    Yep main dealer up until around 80k then VW indie. Well pleased with it, so much nicer that the Volvo XC90. Better quality in every dept.
