No, but they've won the EL three years in a row... Leicester played **** for the majority of the season, and find themselves in the quarters of the CL amongst those teams, fair play. My dislike is for Vardy, who is a ****.

 

Excellent by Leicester. Really can't understand why anyone would wish them to get knocked out quite honestly. Just jealousy i guess.

 

Need Leicester to do well to keep our extra European place open as we are in danger of losing that if other countries do better (somebody is snapping at our heels for that, but can't remember who ). Can't really hate Leicester....even if they employ the Prince of Darkness and sack nice managers*.

*Some other team did that as well.

 

It is difficult to comprehend how a team that has played utter rubbish, can beat one of the better teams in Europe but as Tom has written,

If Manchester City do advance, and the two avoid each other in the qf draw, then both face sides considerably better, although Manchester City do have the firepower to rattle all the remaining sides. They won't. UEFA need them both in the competition as long as possible so don't be surprised if the old 'warm balls' trick keeps them apart all the way to a possible final.....

 

Real Betis have complained to the Spanish FA, about refereeing decisions going against them.
Haven't seen the incident, against Real Madrid, but they seem to think the ref bottled making a big call, against a big club. Wouldn't happen in this country.

They reckon the RM keeper should have been red carded.

Monaco vs City. Could be a great game. Caballero makes a great save from Mbappe (18 years old), from resulting corner Mbappe scores. 8 minutes in and it's 4-5 on aggregate

 

Mbappe fires in another great finish, offside by a yard. Goal disallowed correctly.

I'm not going to pretend that I'm a world football expert, but Monaco have to be a contender for owning the best fullback pairing in the world.

 

After a lull, 2-0!!! Great cross but no marking. Cracking finish.

That Aguero chance, anywhere else on the pitch it's a foul and a yellow card, the defender was late and cleaned him out with a terrible tackle. As he got the shot away it's perfectly fine.
