I normally get to work at 7am. Clocks just went forwards an hour here so it feels like 6am today. I hate bloody time changes. Wish they'd pick one time and stick with it.
Work for NHS in non-clinical role. Don't really wanna go into any more detail than that. Can't sleep on job though
Off to look at a VW Touareg today, hoping to PX my Volvo XC90 with it. Bought the Volvo 6 months ago, but don't really like it. Anybody had a Touareg on here before ? What are they like to maintain ? I know big SUV's are a bit expensive in terms of parts etc, I need one for the space for my business and to double up as a family car, dog carrier, surfboards, kids etc
We've got a new XC90 being delivered next week. We could have done a deal! Personally I've never liked the Touareg.
Don't know anything about them. Had a Range Rover some years back. Where I lived in Surrey was semi-rural and very hilly. If you couldn't get out in the Range Rover you weren't going anywhere!..it would climb up the side of a house in low lock.
Ive walked past one so by Not606 standards that qualifies me to have an expert opinion. I trust most things made by VW, Ive had an Audi Q5, i think the Tourag is similar in size? i think you'll be satisfied for what it offers... It is certainly good enough to provide space for you...i find VW's to be reliable in general so check out the service history, go for a little taster ride in it then see how you feel.
What have you got at the moment we could have done a deal with ? Being a Utd fan I presume you live in Surrey so it's a bit of a distance for me to travel
I've been on the Audi/VW/BMW platform for a few years. I had an allroad before this, a 320d touring and then a Golf before that. I've found the XC90 to be very unreliable, lots of electrical issues, problems with the rear diff etc and very expensive to maintain. I know the Touareg is another big SUV, but I've generally had a good experience with Volkswagen and my mate is a vw/Audi mech, so I'll get him to look after it.
