But I will say I was impressed the way you threw bodies in our way which is indicative of how Jose has improved you so far. Then drowned out by constant Antonio songs for the first half (which probably annoyed Jose), the most I've heard a manager's name sung for decades, probably since Johnny Neal's Blue and White Army years. Two blokes argued next to me about whether we should sing Sit Down Mourinho or not, be it jocular or not. Actually Jose got more banter at the 4-0 earlier this season. MHL singing 'Jose Mourinho' followed by 'Sit down Mourinho' and vice versa.
I would rather we fu**ed up in the FA Cup than waste our chance at the top four or the Europa League. It's never good to go out, especially as holders, but upwards an onwards. We have fewer, high-pressure games to play now, plus Ibra will have had a (forced) break and should come back rested and in good form for the run-in.

Just part of his modus operandi. He always insists that one of his players is the best in the world - it was Deco at Porto then Lampard at Chelsea. Soon as he moved to Inter he claimed Zlatan was better than Ronaldo and Messi, then the second he moved to Real suddenly Ronaldo became the better player. I'm sure he thinks there will be some great psychological boost for the player, I think Lampard has said it was a big thing for him. But the more transparent it gets the more likely his players will work out that he is just spouting BS.

I think the more appropriate question is, do you know ANY other club whose greatest ever manager is hated so much by the club's own fans? Think of any, from Nott Forest to Liverpool to United. And the reason it's so appropriate is because it perfectly sums up CFC. Classless to a man and boy
