The Last Kingdom is back on 16/3/17 for the second series, enjoyed the first series even if it did stray a bit from the books and mixed up a few characters. SSGB has improved as well, it finishes next week.
It's been so long since I read any of the books I doubt I would remember if it strayed. I don't know when I get to see either series. Both will be on Netflix, I know that already, just not when. Last Kingdom I think I heard will be out in the autumn. SSGB probably won't be out here until season 2 starts over there.

top gear episode 2. worrying signs 1. the old james may joke about constantly looking at dacia was repeated by clarkson on alphas on the grand tour but now rory reid is doing the same joke on a renault twingo or something 2. The guy harris is just silly. he's constantly making faces and stuff and he's just not... well... he's a div. 3. I like the bit with the celeb much more. they bring em out and work round them not dominate the show or take long with them.
I haven't been able to watch any post Clarkson Top Gear yet... And I gave up on Grand Tour after about 4 episodes. Abysmal. If they want to do something with a star... Make them part of a segment. Conduct the interview whilst on a rally cross. Do one of the silly races with a star teaming up with them. I don't think they could get enough time with an A-lister for that... But a B celeb they almost certainly could. Instead of a boring interview liven it up as part of a segment. Or have a celeb be a judge for one of their silly stunts where they each have to make a whatever.
I might be able to on Channel Pear on the roku. But that would require knowing the schedule and probably watching at an inopportune time.
they are doing sort of that but not... they get all three guys round the guest and talk then cut to a segment where harris basically screams at them in a fast car and then they talk again and then cut to their own top gear section then come back to guest... all is brief chats. They have james mcivoy and now david tennantt. is mcivoy a a or b lister? I dunno. Its better than evans... its prob better than clarkson the issue is just slipping back into old habits at the same time.
Noticed the lack of TWD talk on here, have people had enough of it? Really liked the last episode, you can see all the factions coming together ready for all of war.
