To be fair Wiz nobody gave us any chance of getting a point at Newcastle or Derby but we brought back 2. NOT 'happy clappy' at all - this season has turned into the season from hell, but the drop is by no means certain - plus, those teams below us still have to win their games too. I bet their fans aren't confident......
Mate it's frightening, we drop points against Burton and Nottingham Forest and pickup one against Newcastle, that should keep the idiot in a job but may get us relegated, Bristol City FC are my main concern not Johnson Jnr..
Get Johnson out and we will have a chance. Christ there are some good managers available at present. With a lot more pedigree than the current incumbent.
Neil Sacked ~Norwich 9th.. McClaren Sacked ~ Derby 10th.. Johnson Extended contract ~ Bristol City 21st.. We are the lucky people..
Who? McClaren's ****, Pearson or Pardew won't come...Rowett not proven..and that leaves????????????????
Would McClaren come I wonder? He may at least have some affiliation/affection to the club from his playing days. The bonus for McClaren would be that with SL has his chairman he would get far more time to turn things around than he has in his previous few jobs, so there may be a slim chance there. Our current position in the league and real fear we will drop to L1 will preclude anyone decent taking a punt on us at the moment, however, if we stay up the summer may see some movement at the top.
Red Robin, you're recent posts on here give you about as much credibility as LJ does as our manager right now!! Do us all a favour keep your negativity to yourself and stay off the board.
We may have a problem, Norwich or Derby may chase Johnsn Jnr to fill their vacancy because of his success, oh dear, hey Lansdown, give him a bigger contract he is so much more successful than the competition..
Fair enough - but your posts are so one sided. It was noticeable you were not on here on Sat evening after a win. I believe you would rather we went down with LJ than stay up with him. Keyboard or turnstile fan, I don't get that mentality.
Whilst we have a manager in-situ this is all conjecture, that said I'm pretty certain that if we sacked LJ tonight, these 2 wouldn't want to have an interview, not when there are jobs going at Norwich & Derby - although it's probably fair to say that NP is not Delia's cup of tea and I doubt he'd be too welcome back at Derby, so he might appear the more likely of the 2.
Can I just say, Brit in Aussie or Brit in Britland, opinions are equal and we all want to hear, a little bit of space and forgive me because I'm am a boring old 60's fart..
Don't tell me you haven't got a mobile phone, I wonder what would have happened if we lost, you would have been all over this forum like a rash.
Well I've never rated McClaren, so wouldn't want him here, Pearson gets on with no one, Pardew, ok for the first couple of months then it's free fall (probably falls out with his players) wouldn't achieve anything on our budget.. Alex Neil could be a shout, ok not done it for Norwich, who's to know why, but did get them up a few seasons ago.. If I were in SL's shoes now....I would take a gamble and keep LJ until end of the season. If we go down, sack him, if we stay up convincingly, I would give him the first 12 games of next season. In the meantime, I would have my scouts out, looking to bring in a manager from abroad. (David Wagner type).
