    I don't know. Against Arsenal and Spurs there was a lot of energy and space. Burnley aren't even sitting back with 10 men behind the ball. They're narrow and are giving us nothing. 30/40 yard pot shots like it was at their ground in Aug/Sept. Our mentality is poor. I really hope to see that changed in the next 50 mins. If we don't come out looking like a different team 2nd half then my patience will begin to wilt.

    On a side note: Would not object at all to us signing Michael Keane - may never become a world class defender but is more the type of character we need at the back than Klavan (or Lucas <doh>)

    I was not going to have a drink watching this game as I had a fair bit of wine last night, but this performance is going to drive me to drink. Guinness in the second half I think.

    I think it did make a difference but then was he not still there the season after?

    Minus Suarez...which was my point...you can hug a guy all you want but it's marginal gains...and we need a he'll of a lot more than marginal gains lol

    Bet people said exactly the same about Lovren when he was at Southampton.

    The thing with centre backs who play for teams like Burnley, Palace, Southampton etc. is they play in compact formations and the centre backs get plenty of protection from their full backs and midfielders. They don't get exposed in 1v1 situations as often as centre backs in teams like Liverpool, City, Arsenal, Man Utd etc. do.
