I'm not confident but nor am I nervous. What will be will be.

Actually got a good feeling about this game but it was the same period to facing Sunderland, Hull, Swansea, etc too so...

 

i deffo didn't have a good feeling prior to Hull but feel like we will be fine today.

 

I keep thinking that surely we (the team that is) must have learned from those experiences and just can't let it happen again?
We should win this comfortably, but who knows? Like you, I'm just going to watch without expectations and see what happens.

After City and the BS we've got a relatively "easy" run-in (theoretically) so if we can master these sort of games we still have a decent chance of top 4.

 

I'd rather have to play Spurs, Arsenal, Man City, Everton, etc in the run in tbh

 

Burnley are outside relegation zone, that makes it okay. We have city next week smile.

 

I just feel that just maybe some burnley players might think they are safe enough on 31 point and only need 9 more.

As an away day they might just not turn up.... but... then again we have given small clubs so much encouragement.

Next thing you know everton will be thinking they have a Chance!

Meanwhile, Joe Gomez and Harry Wilson are named on the bench, with Dejan Lovren ruled out after sustaining a sore back in a collision in training on Saturday.

Didn't know Lovern got injured in training.

 

Our bench looks awful. Only 2 players with a little experience there (Moreno + Lucas) and none of them are attacking players.

 

Woodburn?

 

That's what I mean, we have 2 attacking players in Wilson and Woodburn, they probably have less than 90 minutes of first team action for Liverpool each under their belt!! These are not the type of players you rely on to change a game if your starting line up is struggling!

It shows we have a long way to go to get a squad capable of challenging for European and domestic trophies!
