Our CEO was interviewed on Radio 4 just after 8.30. talking about her 2 favourite subjects, gender imbalance in football administration, and the dreadful abuse she has received. She ended by saying the abuse has made her stronger, and I have to agree. She is now able to focus on being a victim of abuse rather than her own woeful performance in her well-paid job. The nature of chants like the Naby Sarr song must have put a lot of people off the car park protests- can anyone imagine singing that in front of their wife and kids? IMO it probably strengthened Uncle Roly's protective shield too. Strange that the worst online abuser is now, on the surface, her best friend. I draw a parallel with Mrs Thatcher, who always drew strength from personal attacks by her political opponents. She probably classes "liar" as an abusive term, but what other word fits? She is now quite proud of her status as a victim of abuse, and will always use it to draw attention away from her abject failure in her job.
Picked up this in VOTV yesterday as further evidence of Meire's utter lack of suitability for her role. Big Gob Gobbo was overheard loudly telling Scunthorpe manager Graham Alexander that Teixera is his top earner on 12 grand a week. Gobbo went on to say that he has a further two players both on 8k s week who are not at Charlton and he has never seen play (that's over £1m in wages...) My guess as to those 2 players - two out of Fatekole, Kashi or Naby Sarr.
Just saw this thread. Goes nicely with the Fanny Banned one. So Katrien thinks that being stronger has something to do with spitefully banning the organiser of the POTY (and holder of the 'fan of te year' trophy) English must not be her first language.
To add insult to injury they then try to pass this off as "investment". That's how they answered fans concerns again on the recent ITV and BBC reports.
If squirrel face believes the 'abuse' she has received has made her stronger, perhaps she can meet me outside the main entrance tonight. Afterwards she'll be winning Miss Universe awards
