Nobody has ever said rugby doesn't **** the pitch up, the general consensus is it doesn't damage it as much as football. The point - which is really quite obvious - is that playing on it 2 days on the trot ****s it up. It could've been rugby, football or ****ing hockey last night, it shouldn't be played on twice in less than 24 hours.

There was one point near 90 minutes where Gylfi fell on his arse near our goal line as he turned. Pitch looked pretty cut up (must be near the try line?)

I also liked how the KCOM gave MotM to Omar Niasse.

Good win and an okay display, but why do we make it hard for ourselves....We go to sleep for a second and get punished. If they had scored with five to go we'd never have hung on. Needed to kill the game, by playing keep ball and not giving the ball away in piss poor places.

Well after a poor first half, we certainly got better in the 2nd half and bring Naisee on changed the game. Ranocchia was excellent and has been a quality signing, N'Daiye was poor, and Meyler would have been better in that position today. Elabdellaoui and Robbo both had good games, and Elmo should never play full back ahead of Elabdellaoui again. Clucas also had a good game along with Hudd, and just a pity we conceded a headed goal at the near post.

Disagree with your comment about Maguire. I thought he was excellent again today, an odd stray pass, but also a raking cross field ball to feet and some penetrating runs with the ball at feet.
