No. But their run included a World Cup win and a near dismantling of a legendary team with younger replacements - they just kept going. They are now on a run of 45 games won at home. I think the quality of the All Blacks run shades England's but it's still a massive achievement coming off the back of the disastrous World Cup and given the intensity of test rugby. The crushing series win in Australia stands out for me. Next England - All Blacks fixture is November 2018. Last one was November 2014. This seems really odd given the increased number of Test matches these days and the seeming regularity of both teams playing the Wallabies and Boks.
Just need a win today to clinch the Championship and follow up with a win against the Irish for the Grand Slam. I'll bet the TV companies are pissed off there may be no big final day...
England have destroyed Australia home and away and are rightly thought of as the second best side in the world. With players missing throughout this championship they are still unbeaten. Today will be tough against a determined, much improved Scottish team, but if England click there'll only be one winner. They haven't clicked for a while now so I'm hoping they do today or else the Scots will pounce.
Right now England are lesser than the sum of its parts. No individual performance has been outstanding but we are getting results. Win ugly. Today will be tough but we should come through with a win.
France strike early in 2nd half to pull away against Italy, 26-11 looks like it will be a comfortable win for them...
I had a feeling that Italy might nick this one. Can't see that happening now. Glad I didn't place a bet!
Unfortunately Italy always seem to have a costly error waiting to gift their opponents, plus they usually run out of steam in the latter stages...
An awesome display from England. The irish in Ireland will be a totally different kettle of fish though.
