Every years the same but it seems it's all the big names this year. I think we've had an awful NH season and the sport is in a mire at the minute.

I'm sure some new stars will be born at the festival Nass <ok>

Red I think the Neptune is wide open wherever Neon Wolf goes.

Alan King does seem very sweet on the chances of William H Bonney today. Not much of a price, but then the Imperial Cup doesn't look much of a race. Only 13 runners? The monster that is Cheltenham continues to consume the rest of the NH season.

I'll be kicking myself if either of the Gary Moore runners win, as I tend to follow him in these sort of handicaps. But you can't back multiple runners in a 13 runner field imo.

Terrible luck for Tizzard. The festival is cutting up badly.

Sorry for the Cindy moment ... but as a fully committed and paid up member of the "NH is proper racing" club it is most embarrasing!

Me too Uncle - in a field of dodgy horses, this seems the safest option!

Yep .... SS was the best of a poor lot I fear, he may well be improving, but not many of the others are!

Re: your Spencer comment - I refuse to back anything he rides, and if he looks to be on the best horse, I will give the race a miss. He is a good horseman, but I object to his "trademark" waiting tactics on almost anything he rides. If it costs me a winner, then so be it!

Struggling like buggery with the Imperial Cup - will wait to see what Fix Le Kap looks like in the paddock. If he's fit as a butcher's dog he'll probably carry my not-so-hard-earned
