even if we dont get anything from this game, there are still enough games to see us safe. thie isnt a must win, but I think its a must not lose.
No. We have to win. Draws are no use. We are too far behind. Even a win isn't much good. We need wins.
after today..... we still have 10 games to play..................... thats 30 points to play for. we have played ALL the big boys (apart from Man City and Spurs) so realistically... 24 points up for grabs, at least.
Trouble is, our away form is so poor that there is so much now riding on these home games we have left (Spurs included). With the way things have gone away from home, any dropped points at home look to be a massive blow. We could well get some points away from home between now and the end of the season, but it makes more sense to make the most of home advantage than be placing 'must wins' on away games where we have struggled all season. Nothing confirmed today of course, but dropped points would heap a lot more pressure onto the Everton game next weekend.
How do you solve a problem like our Lazar? How do you catch a Serb and pin him down? How do you get Markovic to track back? A flibbertigibbet! A will-o'-the wisp! A clown! Silva got the best out of Markovic in the PL game at Old Trafford with Meyler as right back. It didn't work with Elmo last week and although an abject performance like Markovic's can't be excused, Silva will know the whole balance on the right needs to be sorted out.
I would go with: Jakupovic; Meyler, Ranocchia, Maguire, Robertson, Huddlestone, Clucas, Maloney, Grosicky; Niasse and Hernandez.
Well, this obviously a must win game. If we lose or draw today, we go down. If we win... We keep our hopes up and no more than that. I'm going today, first time in two years. I don't know why, it just seems like a massive game in our future history. I'll be in the North stand looking for our Filey. Is he in n5?
Today is ****ing massive. I hate saying this, but if we don't win, I think the writing might be on the wall for us.
