Watching my lad play in a rugby sevens tournament. One of his team mates is an absolute try machine. He's usually the biggest and always the fastest lad on the pitch. Blows the opposition away single handed.
Is he one of those lads that's clearly playing in the wrong age group? I took my lad to his u8 football the other week and the opposition had 2 plays that looked about 12. Both were strikers and both scored every time they got the ball. The opposition manager has a reputation for taking u8 football way too seriously!
You could do with moving them bags of gravel too. How about giving that woodwork a coat of varnish? You fancy a cuppa? Just putting kettle on.
He's in the right age group but is too good to play against kids of the same age. He's tall and strong (although not stocky). It's his pace that really sets him apart. When he gets a few yards of space he takes off. It's hilarious to watch if he's in your team, less funny for the opposition parents! He's been winning national sprinting competitions in the age group above his own. He's also a very good swimmer. In NZ they don't play in age groups, teams are determined by weight and height. I think that makes more sense.
Don't mind me lads, just giving the place a tidy up since it's quiet here this morning please log in to view this image
Those are garden waste bags and the wooden frame thing is where I season my wood. No need for any work on either, cheers. I've got a pot of coffee on now.
I like the idea of buying a motor home but I'm not sure how much I'd actually use it. How often do you tend to get away in it during the season mate?
- 20 Celsius here and a ton of snow , spent the last 2 days getting people dis-stuck with their cars . Bit of a hobby of mine , got called a beautiful human being yesterday by one ... if they only knew ..LOL
Last summer we had three weeks away in France and Spain. It got used easter, spring bank holiday and October half term. Only bought it last year though, we plan to use it a lot more this year as we've a bit more 'experience'. I've got a couple of websites for free to park places for quick overnighters next to a beach and stuff. It's no time to west Wales from where I live and minutes to get onto Gower peninsula. We don't have to go far to be away, if you know what I mean. Already have easter week, spring bank holiday half term and two and half weeks back to France and Spain booked for this year. Hopefully use it plenty to keep everyone happy.
