With the EPL teams starting to firm up thier 25 man squads over the next couple of weeks who would you like to see big Nige go for and who do you think could be available?

Given our limited dealings in the transfer Market, I'm hoping to see one or two quality loanees move in over before our season properly gets started.

    Thoughts?

Not sure on names, but we need ideally another striker, defender and depending on the Bullard and Oli situation another central midfielder.

Newcastle seem to have an abundance of forwards just now so I would guess that maybe Nile Ranger could be available. He isn't prolific at EPL level by any means but he could possibly do a good job in the Championship.

id try a cheeky loan bid for Josh McEachran of Chelsea.. creative midfielder, similar to lampard. also for Ravel Morrison at Man-u.

i still think we're ok with fryatt, simpson, mclean & adebola as strikers, but we could do with pace & trickery on both wings and someone creative in midfield.

If we ship Oli out instead of using him, I'd like to see this guy brought in to central midfield... http://www.skysports.com/story/0,,11680_7094107,00.html a class act and I can't believe Middlesboro are in for him, so it shows he's willing to play in The Championship (well, it even quotes he is).

I see Pompey are apparently signing Leadbitter from Ipswich - where the feck do they get all their money from?!!

He has a great touch of the ball. The problem is his non existent pace!!

Don't think he needs it - his positioning is really good and always covers the back 4 well. Can pass the ball out from the back...

Killgallon, Morrison and Ranger would be nice.

I'd bid for Kilgallon permanently. I think Sunderland are desperate to get shut of him.

Josh McEachran is seriously unrealistic, I think. I'm not convinced Morrison would be available either.

Nile Ranger looks a quality footballer but I've never seen him look likely to score goals. His work up to a point is brilliant but then no end product.

    Some players I'd ask about:

    Craig Dawson - DF- WBA
Danny Wilson - DF - Liverpool
James Perch - DF - Newcastle
Jordi Gomez - MF - Wigan
Jerome Thomas - MF - WBA
    Marc-Antoine Fortuné - FW - WBA
Sam Vokes - FW - Wolves

I reckon Wolves have got a winger to spare too. Perhaps Hammill or Kightly might be available.Norwich have brought in several midfielders so they'll have a few going begging too. Wes Hoolahan anyone?

Hoolahan will still be a key player for Norwich's and Hodgson has said that Dawson will be in their first team squad for this season. Kightly's probably available and there's a few other decent shouts on that list.

I like your style. Maybe City have a chance with Josh if they get Luka Modric ? That kid needs to play all the time.

Villas-Boas has already said that McEachran is part of his plans, he's going nowhere.

I like the sound of Danny Wilson - great young centre half. With Liverpool not being in Europe you would think his first team opportunities may be limited this season. Can cover left back as well.

Kilgallon would be very good as well, but wages could be a sticking point if we were to go in for him.

I'd like to see us bid for Fuller at Stoke, I think we might have a good shout in getting him especially if they sign Crouch.

I would have said so when they got promoted but they've brought in Johnson, Pilkington, Bennett, Vaughan and Morison in attacking midfield/wide/forward positions. That's a whole lot of competition. I can't see them letting him go before the season starts but there'll be a few guys like him floating around in a month or so.

For cover in each position, I'd go in for (not all of them obviously)

DF - Ignasi Miquel (Arsenal), Dedryck Boyata (Man City), Phillip Degen (Liverpool), Tamas Kadar (Newcastle)
MF - Nabil El Zhar (Liverpool) - only one creative midfielder, frankly we have enough and I don't think shelving Evans or Cairney is the answer.
FW - Dani Pacheco (Liverpool), Lauri Dalle Valle (Fulham), Sammy Ameobi (Newcastle), Leigh Griffiths (Wolves)
