I am not worried about Burnley at home. It is in the away games we are struggling against these bottom sides in the league. Swansea is our only home loss (in the league). A draw is the worst result I expect but I think if we score early they may be in for a long Sunday

Their away form is shocking as well. Just need to be patient, something we weren't in he reverse game. We got frustrated and then tried shooting from everywhere rather than trying to work the ball around and move them.

Get an early goal goal and settle things down, if not need to pass the ball quickly

yes patient but also urgent if you get my meaning

The intensity, speed of pass and just general being about your business needs to be there but patience in not rushing shots or panicking by ended up messing up that vital pass to unlock them.

I find we start slow and safe too much.

Yeah need to start like we did v Spurs and Arsenal rather than Leicester. Play with intensity but not get frustrated if playing that way hasn't broken them down in first 20 mins.

Burnley are going to have 10 men behind the ball, and counter attack.

yup. I worry about that about 20min mark. If we've not scored.. well thus far this year i am struggling to think of a game were we've gone on to win 1-0 or something.

    origi scored after 75mins.

Thats really the only game were i can point to us doing what we are talking about.

    Exactly.

The major issue we have faced this season. Irelevant home or away game. We need to score early to make these teams have to change their game plan. Longer it goes it gives them more confidence and we end up doing silly 30 yrd shots.

    If we win

    upload_2017-3-10_12-19-26.png

Really january was a total disaster and ended our season but 4 good blocks of 4 and 2 just on the edge. We need a perfect run to get 4th from now.

KLOPP: BURNLEY WILL BE WELL PREPARED
    Liverpool
manager Jurgen Klopp says Burnley are likely to provide a stern test on Sunday at Anfield
    REDS WAITING ON FIRMINO

Regarding team news for Sunday, it seems Liverpool may be without key forward Roberto Firmino.
Klopp reported: "(Daniel) Sturridge and (Jordan) Henderson are not available.
"Roberto Firmino struggles a little. He felt something after the game, and this week he couldn’t train, so we need to wait a little bit more and see."
    'WE NEED TO USE ANFIELD'
    Burnley
will be at Liverpool in this weekend's Super Sunday encounter and, despite the visitors' struggles away from home this season, Jurgen Klopp is expecting a tricky afternoon.
"Burnley are happy with their position in the table," he said. "They are very clear with what they do and it’s not easy (for us).
"It will be hard, I’m sure of it. If we don’t score early or another goal early, then it will be difficult.
"Yes they have lost away games but it’s not like they lost them high, they’ve all been close games.
"We need to be ready. We need to create an atmosphere and use advantage of Anfield."

When is Daniel Sturridge going to be fit to play?:
Answer: After the last game of the season, and he will get injured again at the beginning of next season.

No he will be sold and perfectly fit next year.

He is out. Klopp is done with him and vice versa. There no reason for this injury this time imo

I'm with IBWT on the need to start with intensity but to stay patient even if we don't get the early goal. We musn't end up after 30 mins with everyone forward bar the CB's and flog a goal as we all know it ends if that happens.

    Yup.

Can be warned. Job is to stand there and foul guys for 60mins. If I see can in opposition pen area making runs in play I shall not be pleased
