True, I'm just surprised they found them so difficult. Our game was pretty much one way traffic, and once the first goal went in it was just a matter of how many.

With only one shot on target, that would be very clinical (but not beyond the
Aguero of a couple of seasons ago) .

True, but if you want to win a title then you have to beat Stoke at home. You have to win ugly. Similar to when we played West Brom at our place.

Both were ****ing terrible at WHL. 4-0 each, but it could easily have been far more, especially for Stoke.
Got to half-time and then strolled through the rest of the game.
I'm very surprised that City couldn't break them down. I wonder what they changed?
    Anyone catch it?

Yeah I saw it. They created a couple of chances but seemed to run out of ideas. One of those night I guess.

Spurs fans may have ended their interest in the Europa League but one result from last night will have alerted them.
Belgium mid-table side Gent, who could not be beaten by the Lilywhites over two legs and went through 3-2 on aggregate, lost 5-2 at home in the first match of their round of 16 tie with compatriots Genk.

    Don't shoot the messenger

  9. I don't think so, Bluey.

No point ... just reproducing an article from the BBC's Sportsday rolling news which is addressed to Spurs fans ... admittedly it's not their "Gossip" column, where you seem to get most of your articles from ...but you obviously value the content on theor site? ... <laugh>

The current Champions? ... well observed good sir, I do indeed... I think you'll find a sense of pride in that rather than embarrassment should it happen with your own club...however unlikely that is ... otherwise than on a computer game of course <whistle>

  13. It is true that I like to look at the latest gossip, but I always make it clear that it is, in fact, gossip that I am reporting. It's as though I try to pass off the gossip as hard factual news.

Admit it, Fosse... we all like a bit of goss every now and then!
