Yes, a win that takes them to the top of the table by a single point. The second red was quite funny as the Belfort keeper was heading towards the halfway line acting as a sweeper, when he was faced with two forwards bearing down on him and none of his defence in sight. A rugby tackle on the one with the ball, and before the ref could get his red card out he was taking his jumper off. There was only a couple of minutes left so it made little difference.

Morning all from a damp Jersey. Today should have been a special day as it was supposed to be my Dad's and jerzeypie's Grandad's 70th birthday. He was the one who took me to my first WFC match in March 1978 when I was 5, decided that I should be a mascot in the 1980-81 season and that we should become season ticket holders in the new Family Enclosure in 1981, much to the annoyance of my sister as she doesn't like football.
Unfortunately, skin cancer took him when he was 57, but it shows that he was a man who was liked by everyone who knew him as there was standing room only at his funeral at West Herts Crematorium - some people couldn't even get in.

The Premier League has secured a court order to help tackle rights-infringing video streams of football matches via so-called Kodi set-top boxes. The order gives the league the means to have computer servers used to power the streams blocked.Until now, it could only go after individual video streams which were relatively easy to re-establish at different links.A spokesman said it could now target pirates in a "precise manner"."For the first time this will enable the Premier League to disrupt and prevent the illegal streaming of our matches via IPTV, so-called Kodi, boxes," he added.Football fans are urged instead to get a Sky Sports or BT Sport subscription, or watch games at a venue that pays for access. The Federation Against Copyright Theft (Fact) declared that the use of Kodi software to watch pirated streams was becoming an "epidemic" last September.Since then, there have been several arrests of people selling set-top boxes pre-installed with both Kodi software and additional third-party add-ons that make it possible to watch copyright-infringing film and TV streams.

I don't know if this has an effect on any who watch streams, but as I often find myself watching something that come out of Canada or the USA, I doubt that it will stop.

Well, if that stops it all, I won't be watching any - I refuse to subscribe to Sky or BT Sports.

Back to Jon Marks I guess - at least he is a better commentator...

I have been having trouble recently getting Jon Marks, and not sure why.
I can watch my local team, free and legally because the French Football League have their own channel that is available via the official club site. Might be different next season if they get promoted.

The EPL could try and block it being streamed outside of the USA .Its a program that shows as many games as they can plus highlights . plus it help them fill the time slots (on the east coast) the early game is 7.30 AM then the 10.00am followed by the 12.30pm every sat then they show all the live USA sports. Im not sure then do much with the FA cup

I watch those channels quite often, and get a message for five seconds that tells me that it is not for viewing outside the USA. I remember several years ago the authorities in the states closing down a streaming company, and a couple of weeks later it had moved home to an island and were out of reach, and still streaming.

Hi all from a misty island. I've either come across a scam or 20 years in the finance industry and the annual Anti-Money Laundering training has made me paranoid. As you may all be aware, I'm the Treasurer of the Jersey Softball Association and I had an email earlier from our President but the email address the reply to be sent to was one I didn't recognise. It said that she was in a meeting with a supplier (didn't say who) and that I was to make a CHAPS payment to them asap. It has been discussed previously that at a charge of £30 each time we make a payment like that was an expense that we weren't going to incur as a minority sport with not much money to play with. There were a couple of other things about this that made me suspicious. I should be speaking to the President later and clarify whether it was her that was sending me the emails or not. I also contacted the person who looks after the JSA website and email addresses to see if he could see if anyone may have hacked into them.

Hitting the reply button should at least let you find out if it's a scam - it it is, it will come back 'undeliverable'.

It has been a beautiful day in this part of France, warm, little wind, and the scent of the wild cherry trees that are in blossom laying heavily in the air. I was able to spend the afternoon in my fields, weeding and clearing some of the fallen branches that came down in last weeks gales. More very noisy cranes came directly overhead heading north, and as they were flying unusually low I tried to get a photo of them on my phone. Too late, I have a picture of a blue sky. The backs of my legs are complaining after so much bending, and now I have found my reading glasses I can see where the thistle is in my finger. It is supposed to be similar tomorrow, so maybe the first grass cut of the season could be done, although once you start that it seems to go for ever.
