I remember that we were in France and watched it live. It was like watching a car crash!

 

That must have been a low point, we don't often play you lot knowing you are there for the taking.

 

It was made worse by one of our fans giving Bailly some shameful racial abuse from the row behind us. We were in J.

My mate, who's a big lad, pointed out that half our team is black and gave him a crack!

The 'No pens at Old T' was based on the fact that no away side scored a penalty at Old T for ten years in the Prem from1993-2003. Three were missed I think

 

Am I imagining it, or were there a small amount of seats at the back of the Stretford in the 80s?

 

The Ruel Fox one was in 1993. Danny Murphy's was in 2004.
Muzzy Izzet, David Dunn and Juninho missed in the years between.
11 years between successfully taken penalties is ridiculous.

 

There were indeed. They were rubbish!

In fact, my parents have a row of them in their back garden with lovely flower filled plant pots on them!!
