    Loved ending their title challenge at Upton later that season.

    The season before was worse when we won. Hammers in Shed, West Stand.

    The two nil defeat to Liverpool in the europa league more or less one year ago was really depressing.

    It felt like the club was in the hands of a bloke intent on killing it off and not giving a ****. There have been worse than that obviously but it felt like a nadir to me that, thankfully, we seem to be gradually extricating ourselves from.

    The worst display I ever witnessed at Old Trafford was the four one defeat to QPR on new years day 1992.

    I was massively hungover, it was freezing cold and a bloke I'd never heard of or indeed ever heard from again scored a hat trick. I swear the whole United team had been out on the piss NYE and just rolled up before kick off the way they stumbled about the place.

    That United cup game when Gullit played Mark Hughes in midfield was bad, think they were 5 up at one stage.

    And Tinkerman ceding a lead to 10 man Monaco was bad too in CL semi
