Yes. I found out that anyone who says Paris is the only capital city in Europe with only one football club is wrong on two counts.
I find it quite funny that no commentary, match report or article that I have read mentions the fact PSG where robbed by two of the softest/dodgiest penalties you could ever see.
I've just seen the highlights, the 2nd pen is absolutely ludicrous but then so was some of the PSG defending. And they had some chances didn't they? Couldve easily been 5-4 on the night.
Before kick off they were 7/1 to qualify, so I thought **** that. I looked again about a minute into the game and they'd gone to 12/1 so I chucked a tenner on it This is on bet365 by the way.
As I guessed, it says here 40/1 to win outright. Gutted I didn't have a tenner on that, I ****ing hate the ****s and £400 would've made it a little more palatable if they win it. http://metro.co.uk/2017/03/08/barce...-germain-out-of-the-champions-league-6497705/
2 dodgy pens, but PSG were terrible..Couldn't keep the ball. Worse than Barca were at PSG..I hope and pray its not a RM vs Barca final..
Can't stand Barcelona. Typical cheating ****s. It's nowhere near the greatest comeback of all time either. When you have a forward line of Messi, Neymar and Suarez you can tonk any team in the world for 6 at any time. in 2010 Arsenal were 2-0 at Wigan. Wigan then scored 3 goals in 10 minutes, 2 of them in injury time I believe. That is better comeback. A team fighting relegation came back against one of the best teams around at the time. Man City's comeback against Tottenham in the cup years a go when (I think) John Mackem popped up at the end to win it is better. Pretty sure we were 2-0 up against Peterborough about 20 years a go and they scored a few at the end to win 2-3, that's a better comeback.
How is the best team in the world winning a game by a lot of goals (dodgy gifts aswell) better than a relegation team scoring 3 inside 10 minutes at the death to beat a world class team
One dodgy pen. The first one if it had happened against City would have had no one saying we shouldn't have been awarded it.
Got £36.50 in my bet365 account from my winnings from us beating Liverpool. Was going to put it on Barcelona but thought don't be daft. When they were 3-0 up said to my lad that I wished I had. 3-1 said I was glad I hadn't. Didn't even consider it whatever the odds after PSG scored. Another example of why bookies are considerably richer than the punters.
They didn't overcome a 4 goal deficit. They didn't overcome a scoreline which had never been overcome in that competition.
My mate put a tenner on before the game and won 90 quid. Not great odds but again bookies realise Barce can do that to teams.
Wasn't there a Man City away at Spurs game under Keegan when they were either 3 or 4 nil down at half time and down to 10 men and they came back to win 4-5? Surely that's better as well? My memory might be shady on this...
I don't see the amount of goals as as important as the levels of the teams involved and the manner in which the game was won. I also think big in game comebacks (such as liverpool beating milan in the final) are more impressive than 2nd leg ones where one team just dominates from the start
