They don't care once they have the money. Just look at their continuous "full house" attendance figures, even though you see a few red seats on TV at the Library. Once the money for each seat is in the bank, Kroenke et al don't seem to care whether supporters turn up. In fact even if one section of the stadium was empty in protest, IMHO I doubt their board would even blink.
Why on Earth would I say that? The reason for Spur's capitulation was there for all reasonably-minded folk to see for themselves. When it became clear that we couldn't win the title, the players simply gave up. To them, finish second or third didn't appear to matter, whereas to us fans finishing above Arsenal would have been applauded, even amidst the disappointment of not winning the title. For Wenger, had Arsenal not finished above Spurs last season, I think he may well have walked before the start of this season. As RCL said, his finishing second served only to paper over the cracks, as this season is, once again, demonstrating.
I think Cech suggested to him that he joined Manure to win things. Sanchez couldn't stop himself laughing
I don't see anything other than a grimace? EDIT: Maybe a tiny hint of a smile at the end? Hard to condemn 100%
Top player, that Sanchez. I have a lot of respect for him. It must be well worth our while making a cheeky bid for him, now.
They've paid big money in recent years though. Ozil was around £46m and Sanchez about £32m. They've got money to spend, they just don't spend it and when they do, it's in the wrong areas. They've been crying out for a CB and DM since Vieira and Campbell left! A keeper too until Cech turned up.
