THis is the thing - if we do make it to the CL, I would feel quite confident because it seems to suit us. Compare that with Rodgers when he didn't have a clue on how to progress in Europe.

We never seem to get battered ether. Even when we're poor we tend to compete. Can't remember last game against big club that thrashed us where as we've trashed a couple, Arsenal get hammered now and then as do Spurs and even city now and then.

Not saying we've not played badly and been well beaten but we never get beat by 4 or 5 goals in a game like a few of other top clubs have done in recent years.

Maybe we just haven't been exposed yet to these teams and others have. I dunno.

I'm glad no one has mentioned Stoke. That's the way it should be. Never mentioned again...like it never happened. <ok>

Mings banned for 5 games. Still not entirely sure why a stamp is classed as worse than an elbow? Both could do the same damage to someone.

    I called it.

Mings could have popped his skull like a zit.

It was attempted murder etc etc. Whatever..

Any time I've seen a stamp of any sort the FA come down hard. It's just their thing to do.

Really surprised they didn't get the same ban. The 'stamp' was bad, but Ibrahimovic's elbow was clearly in reaction with intent to get back at him, it was targeted at him specifically to hurt him and not just a random elbow. I think they were as bad as each other.

I didn't see the stamp but I heard that fat **** Rooney was on the ground. Mings tried to avoid him and but the rest of the ground was covered by Ibra's ego.
