In Aus. Sellotape is known by another name. An Aussie friend told us that as a 20 yearold she went to work in London in the 60's to work in a large office. On her first day she coudn't find any of the sticky tape so asked if anyone had any Durex. Could not understand why everyone around was aghast.
What do you call a Sauna? I hope you don't use the trashy Finish name. Perhaps a good English term like Airing Cupboard. While we're talking about Sauna (or Bastu in Sweden) there's a Burger King in Helsinki with one! And yes it really says Home of the Whopper on the wall. please log in to view this image Many work places Finland have their own Sauna and it's very common to head in with you colleagues/clients/customers completely in the buff. As it happens I'm off to Helsinki next week to meet a rather attractive head of Marketing. If she suggests we head to the Sauna afterwards she'll not have a problem finding somewhere to hang her towel.....
I have just realised my mistake. I sauna, use hot tubs, drink dry sherry, eat tapas, sup real ale, scuba dive, love good quality dark rum and I am quite relaxed about it all. What a ****, I must be. If I had some Kleenex, handy I would have a ****
Hot tubs and whirlpool baths can be health hazards if they are not used frequently or cleaned out on a very regular basis. Biofilm is the problem. Stay clear - not worth the effort. Build a sauna instead is my advice from experience with our whirlpool bath - a bloody, slimey mess. http://www.hottubworks.com/blog/is-bio-film-lurking-in-your-hot-tub/
Anyway, back on track. Another of the reasons I can't include a hot tub in my social life is the fact that it's really hard to snort cocaine while you're in one
It is easy to tell if your hot tub has a problem, just one look at the water will tell you. We tested ours and cleaned or changed the filters virtually daily. Keeping the chemical balance right is key to keeping down problems. Dirty Hot Tubs do increase the risk of bacterial growth, but a shower head has the same risk.
I suppose the bath in your house cleans itself? For some reason, I heard my wife's voice as I typed that
Serious question - when you empty it to clean it, where does the water go? Obviously a usual bathroom bath it goes down the plughole to the plumbing. Is a hot tub plumbed into a water waste pipe?
