So, not only are we going to get relegated...we are also going to have the first managerial sacking of the year and we are going to have the biggest flop of the season!

Apparently Obertan is overpriced at £3 million, but I wonder if this guy has ever seen him play a full game? Even if he turns out to be poor there will be much bigger flops this season considering Obertan is relatively cheap (for a footballer).

It's just proof that pundits haven't got a ****ing clue. It's purely their warped opinion based on their own mad ideas.

If it was based on any real sound knowledge, most of the pundits predictions would be heading in a similar direction at least. However, it's only a select few, for their own personal reasons, who believe that we're ****ed and somehow far more likely to fail compared to the likes of Wigan and some of the promoted teams.

Lets put personalities to one side, for a minute.

At present, we have no left back, no decent right back, no decent cover at centre half, nor a top striker. Also, the fans are restless, and are far from fully convinced by Alain de Pardieu. What happens if we lose the first few matches, including the derby? Chances are the fans will kick off, against Ashley, but possibly against de Pardieu, who is perceived, by many fans, as just a "yes" man.

Add to that a dressing room where half the team speak french, and you have a potential for disaster.

Before any of you say it, I'm not a "doom and gloom" merchant. I hope that all my fears will prove to be unfounded, and we have a great campaign, and wow the premiership with fast attacking football. However, I can see how, to an outsider, we might look a bit of a mess, at present, such that there may be a possible repeat of what happened three years ago.
