There was no match thread on this so i thought i'd create one. Let's hope that we salvage some pride and perform well today. COYG! Team news Arsenal keeper David Ospina, Theo Walcott, Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey come into the starting XI. Midfielder Mesut Ozil has recovered from an illness to take his place on the bench. Bayern Munich's defensive player Phlipp Lahm is suspended for the return leg and is replaced by Rafinha. Midfielder Franck Ribery returns to the starting XI in place of Douglas Costa.
Good to see a front 3 of Welbeck, Sanchez and Walcott. The game might be beyond us, but I;d like ti see these three start up front more often .
It's an exciting front three with bags of pace. If we're going out, we might as well in a blaze of glory. Only worry is the lack of creativity in the middle. Can OXO and Ramsey create enough between them? We may have problems with keeping possession. please log in to view this image
Good luck for tonight lads. Knowing your lot, you'll be 3-0 up with 5 minutes to go, then get burned on the break while throwing the kitchen sink at the other end.
**** house decision from the ref and 4th official. Shoulder to shoulder from Kos and Lewandoski, and then the **** sends Kos off. ****ers
http://www.navixsport.com/sport.php?id=2660User_SomethingRetarded&hd=1 Just came over to say that I didn't think that was a red card and saw your comment.
Shot ourselves in the foot with that goal, although the tie was beyond us anyway at that point. No making excuses for our first leg performance, but the ref has ****ed us over in this 2nd leg.
Its a stonewall penalty but I thought the rule had been changed so if it's a pen it's just a yellow to avoid the double punishment. The tie was over with the Penalty but the stupid Red card ruined what was shaping up to be a lively second half. Bizzare decision!!!
If that's a stonewall, then the one on Walcott in the 1st half should also have been given. The ref has ****ed us over tonight.
