    Depends how you want to measure it. 6 games is always used but what happened 5 games ago is no more relevant than what happened 1 game ago.

    well it is and isn't.

    5 games ago is recent enough to analyse and opponents current tactics and form etc but yeah what happened in one game doesn't mean it will occur again... usless you are a lfc defender or GK who are doomed to groundhog day.

    Different players available to you... different players available to opposition, the teams you played /they played. You can't really use form as a basis of much other than been a dramatic turn (ie lost first 6 of season but won next 5, you'd say you have less chance than earlier on etc). Form is really just the league table. Teams near the top have been in better form this year and therefore have more chance of winning against team at bottom

    boro away is hard ok, cos they can play for 0-0 but ... west brom on hols is easy.

    Ok they might go out of FA cup with that hard draw but... well... It is a piss easy two league games. if utd get a replay then it'll only be one.
