Build a stand just for them. Call it the stand for spectators not supporters.

That's essentially the same thing. If there's enough supporters at a game for three active stands then there should be.

What is the definition of active ?

Nobody is really supposed to be standing all the time , not even away fans at our ground

But they do. All over. We seem to have the lowest percentage of those that stand both home and away for some reason.

Most were standing last saturday. Although there was a small black of Coach One types who remained seated throughout down at the bottom impassive,

That's rubbish, we're no different to the majority of clubs, around two thirds of the 2,000+ fans on Saturday stood all game.

Well the TV cameras are selective because it didn't look that way on TV. Every other club has virtually everyone stood at the likes of Anfield as well whilst on TV you see loads of ours sat down. Didn't see many stood up at Arsenal either whereas the likes of Boro have no one sat down when they visit there.
A reflection of the changing demographics because of the Allams? Though there have been arguments involving fans telling others to sit down since we first went into the PL. Never notice fans of TWS or The Fowls sitting down at away games.
I noticed very few, a handful, from Burnley were sat down. All at the front. Same with Everton at away matches. Maybe they have some sort of sensible arrangement.

I think our fans behind the goal need to step up the plate when it comes to the away team team taking a pen. Hushed reverence when we need a wall of distracting noisy abuse and gestures.

Noticeable when Hernandez was through on a one on one that the section behind the goal in the South Standweren't on their feet urging him on. Even our last minute goal against Liverpool saw them only slowly rising to their feet to give a gentle round of applause after the ball had gone in.
Never seen stewards rushing to control our fans for being over exuberant in their celebrations at away games. Sunderland have old buggers of my age dancing about and going mad.

That's the problem with only watching on TV, you can get things completely wrong.

For some reason, Leicester's stewards went into full pitch invasion mode at the bottom of our stand when they scored their 2nd goal. Presumably they thought we were going to storm the pitch in outrage at conceding a goal.

On a totally separate note and in reference to one of your previous posts, I do think the demographic of our fanbase is very different to other clubs. At away games there are still plenty of hardcore types so I don't think it's the Allam thing, but there seems to be a lot more older people and generally passive fans than there used to be. The best explanation I can think of is the relative successes of the club in recent years. A lot of people who stopped going when we were **** have come back, and there are plenty of newer fans who only know the modern day, sanitised experience.

Indeed. Two away games in a row, and counting.

A lot of the older ones are hardcore fans who were there still supporting the club whilst others deserted it, claiming other priorities, before returning in time for our rise. The passive ones tend to be those who arrived after the opening of the KC and have no experience of old style support. I have had people younger than my lads tutting and telling me to sit down. Other clubs seem to have a lot of 50 and 60 year old who are quite lively. We miss out on the group a lot of clubs have, the 40-50 year old enthusiastic fans as City were deserted by those wanting success, even if it was that of a big fish in a puddle type, when the rugby clubs were doing well and City were going through our worst periods.
It always surprises me that 3,000 tickets at clubs with 60,000 crowds like Arsenal or Man Utd always seem to end up in the hands of people who stand and shout for 90 minutes, even though their home games can be quiet, yet we sell half of that and the majority seem to end up in the hands of people who want to sit and spectate,

So, camera shots of people sat down are fake news and they were all stood up, their boisterous, raucous support frightening the stewards who were worried they ciuldn'-the contain them?
Filey Tiger was amazed at the number of people resolutely sat down at away games so was he mistaken and hallucinating?

    How old are you again?
So theyre hardly stopping all these boisterous types from going. We just do not have the numbers. Simple as that.

When lots of people, but not everyone, are stood up, some people are sat down. Does that help you?

I was there, you were not, I simply can't see any reason why you are continuing with this.
