Looong night. At hotel. Of course when I get to my room the thermostat is set to 63F (too cranky to convert that to C). Why do hotels always set the rooms so cold? Turned heat on, fan running all night (even when I tried to turn it off) temperature never got above 70. It's the fan that pissed me off though. It sounded like someone trying to crank a 1970's VW beetle over and over and over again. It's not the lack of sleep. Not the cold room, but being subjected to that noise all night. In the lobby waiting on co-worker now, they have some fancy looking chairs... Uncomfortable as hell.
It's 23C outside here today and I'm further North than usual. Completely odd they have room set so cold.
btw mclaren back in testing and back out of testing again with another engine change today that and no red bull big reveal means i'm sad today
I presume you'd rather the fascinating debate about ambient temperature and air conditioning continue
Yeah their F1 car continues to be junk There's also stuff going on in the team with conflict between the Honda engine guys, Gilles Simon has left / been pushed out, clearly Honda just can't get their ting together Seems like McLaren are also using that as an excuse/distraction for the poor car they've put together though There road cars however are amazing, have a look at the new 720s that they'e just launched
The thermostat at ours is in the middle of the cube farm. Which is always the least impacted by the climate controls. When it's hot outside and the air conditioning is on my office gets blasted and I have to put my jacket on. When it is cold outside and the heat is on my office gets roasted and I'm sweating all day. The price I pay for not being in the cube farm where the temperature is usually pleasant. Worth it though.
