Even Kevin Friend and Andre Marriner together won't make that happen.

Thought it was even funnier when Can fouled Walcott, faked an injury, Matip took the blame and Xhaka was the one who got booked.

Massive ****housery from Can. Much needed.

No. It was a complete and utter ****ing waste and could have seen him get sent off later. If you're going get a booking at least leave something on him. Girly tackle in a not very dangerous situation. Waste.

How come you're not similarly impressed when Lucas fouls people? :)

Sanchez was gone and knowing our lot if he got past can then it was a goal.

I just think we let just just run at us too many times on breaks and dont nip it in the bud like that.

Can tends to win most his tackles unlike Lucas, who often loses it and gives away free kicks in dangerous positions. :)

    Exactly.

A foul on the half way line to prevent a break when the team is up the pitch is a good foul.

A foul on the edge of the box when a guy wants contact and flops over when to put your hands on him is not a good foul

If our lads would do those snide fouls more we would concede less goals.

But what about the many good performances last season ...?

I know he's been poor this season but a) he's played through injuries and b) playing a different role to last year. Oh and c) only really featured in the games against the lesser teams where we have struggled regardless of personnel.

The quality performances last season show that he's a good player. Easily upgradable no doubt, but he's possibly the one midfielder we have that actually takes responsibility.

    Arsenal Board.

For the sake of my sanity please **** off and go Mr Wenger.
    Yes you were great.
    You won't be great again.
    Yes you won many trophies.
    You won't win any more
Yes you discovered Henry, Anelka, etc.
    You also bought utter ****.
Yes you got us in to CL 21 times.
    You never won it.
Yes you got us Top 4 21 times.
    You won't this year.
Arsene Wenger thanks for all the great memories, please just go.

Shock horror, we turned up against a top 4/6 team!
I bet we don't against Burnley...
Rinse and ****ing repeat.. I do hope I'm proved wrong though..
Won't comment on the game just yet because I'm still pissed off with our Jekyll and Hyde attitude!

He's never caught up with fitness and looks out of sorts to me.

thats my main issue. yes he missed a good bit of preseason but he's not looked near it even 6 months on from that.
