If we keep hitting the bar or the post one of them will go in eventually, aye David course they will why not just ask them to aim for the f ucking 18 yard hole in the middle you dozy twat.
To be honest with you Nos, I don't see discussing Short's shortcomings, the attitude of the playing staff, or the qualities of the manager as negative. Just an honest assessment of the situation the club is in. It only becomes negative because there is very little any of us can do. Commenting on the situation by walking out is about the only thing anyone can do, but unless we go down the embarrassing and shameful route of organising boycoutts (sic) its impossible to indicate who the ire represented by the walkout is aimed out. Not that I'd walk out anyway, if I've paid for my ticket I'm going to get my money's worth by suffering until the very end.
That really necessary? Just because someone thinks differently to you doesn't mean you have to call anyone.

I think those of you harbouring hopes of Moyes being sacked are on a hiding to nowt, it'll cost you a fair whack to sack the bloke no matter what and unless you've had your head in the sand, you're way too close to FFP limits to spend any more this season.

Well his best mate drinks in East Herrington and I will leave it at that. Iam off now. Said my stuff.
Moyes tactics are woeful. We now need 9 points out of the next 12 to stand any chance of survival, and that is asking too much, from this set up. The squad is not fit for purpose, and sadly neither is the manager, but he will be here at the start of next season so we just have to get used to it. No wonder the fans are walking out if Man U had served this up year after year I wonder how many would even turn up never mind stick it out, not many is my guess.
Next weekend. Whist it's not true to say that you NEED a result to stay up it is realistic that if you can't get points at home against the team with the worst away record in the league then you're almost certainly shafted. Play like you did first half today and I'd expect you to get 3 points. Palace do play Watford at home though so i reckon 17th place will have at least 27 points. It's not over yet though!
like 99.9% of the people on here I have no clue of what goes on behind the scenes at the club and can only make a judgement on performances on the pitch. We acquitted ourselves well and were desperately unlucky to go in one behind. We knew we were hoping against hope for a result today but leaving when the second went in told me that too many supporters surrendered before the team.
I agree with you there. I think our home support are too quick to react badly to what happens on the pitch and I think that is why confidence seems so fragile amongst the players and has done for a number of years. To some extent, the reaction of the crowd is borne of the years of frustration though. That's not an excuse, just an observation. I also agree that very few of us know what goes on behind the scenes. But there is enough in the public eye to indicate that the some people within the club have been making poor decisions over the last few years.
I don't think sacking Moyes would be a good move for you right now. As a club you seem to have become a poisoned chalice for any aspiring manager. You mentioned getting Rowett or Pearson, but would they even want to come to you guys? If it were me I wouldn't be worried about getting relegated as that's pretty much accepted right now and it could be blamed on Moyes anyway... I'd be more worried if I actually managed to keep you up this season and then had to try and do it again next season with the same failing players. For how ever many years now, every manager you've brought in mid season has kept you up then faced the chop the following season. Stick with Moyes. If he relegates you then get rid in the summer and start fresh with a Rowett or Pearson type manager, if he keeps you up, happy days, he's done his job. Moyes has a very big reputation despite his previous failings in Spain and with Utd. So If he can't do it, then I can't see anyone else wanting to risk their reputation on you this season.
