3-2 FT. Really good first half, really sloppy and complacent second.
Went to sleep at 2-0 thinking it was over, which is just not good enough against a top side.
Scoreline's a bit flattering for Everton, but it's a lesson that we need to learn.

Pathetic....ruining our defensive record by two brain farts.

Apart from the goal Delle has been poor.

Harry Kane was great...but there is something irritating about the Spurs as a collective st times.

    3 points... COYS!

I would have took any win today, but now starts the post-mortem.

Again the MF press has not been up to the expected standards
throughout the game. Someone in MF needs the hairdryer treatment.
    Similarly for the back four.

  6. 6th time of asking......
And Coleman avoided one altogether despite 4/5 blatant fouls and getting spoken to for dissent.
No consistency in the officiating! <doh>

I am normally quite negative but today I thought we were excellent. This is a good Everton team and we made them look very ordinary. Yes we made a couple of mistakes for their goals but we could have scored a lot more. Just didn't get the rub of the green on certain situations.
I think it's a little unfair to be critical of the team today.
I would have bitten your hand off for a win today before the match.

Good game. The lads were great today. Can't single anyone out for special praise. This was a strong team performance.
    Everton flattered.

    Fantastic.

    COYS

  9. Can't disagree with those sentiments - and there were some real positives, particularly in Ben Davies performance.
What is worrying is the continued poor delivery from Eriksen. Best free kick of the day was Winks to set up Alli. (Who as has been said earlier was not at his best)
But a great and very much required win!! COYS!!

Now we just need Sunderland and West Ham to do us a favour.
Anyone got high hopes for either of those happening? No, me neither! <laugh>
You never know, though. Some really odd results this season.

  12. From Harry....."We want West Ham to win against Chelsea tomorrow, we don't normally say that."
    Good lad!! <laugh>

It could have been a 3 or 4 nil canter had Michael Oliver done his job properly and awarded us a penalty and a Williams red card in the first half. At least that decision did not cost us and it was a dominant display, we thoroughly deserved the win and 3-2 was flattering to Everton.

Never rule Everton out against us. I remember watching Spurs 10 Everton 4 in the late 50's and a few other big wins for us against Everton but they are few and far between. But 3-2? I'll take it.

Tactically ****e from Koeman today, I knew from the minute I saw Barry's name on the team sheet that it was going to be a long afternoon.

The set up was woeful, defensive and a virtual surrender before a ball was kicked.

We deserved nothing and left with nothing, poor.

    Not safe yet.
Still need another 3 pts to avoid being caught by the (al)most winningest PL run
from the most attackingest team ... in the world. Ever.

Brutal but honest tobes....you got good things coming in the next few seasons if the media do not succeedin unsettling your manager and team (know the feeling).

  20. Very surprised (although delighted) you didn't provide more. Based on your recent form you did what we did at Klanfield.....
good luck for rest of season! :emoticon-0148-yes:
