Dyche was whinging and appealing for free kicks all afternoon. Biggest wihinger of a manager in the PL.

When it comes to managers , there's a huge difference between being outspoken and having a big mouth . He should have spent most of his time thanking the referee and woodwork in reality

The fact that he was brought in to be backup to Borja is just hilarious. The difference in class and quality between the two is enormous.

Dyche going on about he thought they should have nicked a point. What ****ing game was he watching. He has the gall to go on about how he thought our winner was a foul.

I have zero respect for him.

Only just got over the emotions of yesterday! I have a feeling we will have a few more of these types of games to come.

What is it with Anthony Taylor? Until yesterday we hadn't won a home game that he had been the ref for! In 2014 he was the ref at QPR when he didnt' send Rob Green off for handling outside the box and denying Routledge who himself got sent off later in the game for a dubious foul! Alsa why are professional refs going away mid week for a stag night - surely then can schedule weddings for close season!

Great display from the boys and great to see we have a manager who is an excellent coach and who is committed to the cause. Our struggle may be keeping PC soon.

Fantastic win - missed it all unfortunately.

To the penalty. The corner comes in. There's a huge amount of arms and bodies flailing around, some in front of others, which might make it extremely difficult for the ref to get a clear view. He has one shot, and has to make an instant decision. The ref sort of ducks a bit while blowing his whistle and pointing to the spot. This suggests he's not really sure. As PGF suggests he may be guessing. He may not be getting any help from the linesman who isn't sure either.

I don't buy this bent ref stuff. It's a tough job. The only issue is probably if he's not certain, what does he do. He knows it hit someone's arm and has to give a free-kick or a penalty. Which way....?

    If in doubt, don't.

He should have waved play on just as when there is doubt with a tackle.

Exactly right, it looked like he made the decision more on guesswork than fact. You can't go giving penalties on that basis.

If in doubt leave out, is the answer aswan! but the nugget couldn't wait to give it against us, his track record at officiating our games is abysmal, as Glamexile has rightly pointed out, I have no sympathy whatsoever for him, hope he gets lots of stick from it. Time for video technology, well overdue as Paul Clement has stated in his interview, pathetic that they have dithered on this for so long, dodgy old men in the back room of footy power..................<ok>
