Yep, again. We have all known this for many seasons. I use to think "WHAT THE F*CK?! WHY WONT THEY...." I'm now pretty numb to it. It's just our club now. It feels a bit like Ipswich. Limited resources to compete with big spenders. Don't want to take a punt. It's scary.
Yep your right. We are a ****ing shambles. No point in us being the playoffs anyway. We would just get screwed.
The Board is the whole problem my disdain for that f*cking woman is immense, I loathe that bitch with the same passion as I do my Ex !
Funny you say that. Never a guarantee, but look at Leicester since they've had Skakespeare, rather than Ranieri in charge.
Isn't it strange - I think it was Chris Goreham who had an article in the EDP this week and he was talking about 'the spine' of the team - ie players who were at the club when PL was in charge and I remember commenting that that was one of the major problems and harsh decisions have to be taken in the summer at the latest. After today's debacle, I think as others have said that the time for major surgery is NOW and at least if several of the more promising youngsters were given a chance to prove themselves, we'd see some exciting football and I for one would be far more tolerant of any errors they might make. My main question is how on earth can we comfortably beat Forest 5-1 and exactly 3 weeks later, get thrashed 5-1 by Sheffield Wednesday and they BEAT Brighton 3-0?????
Except against Yorkshire clubs - Wednesday, Leeds and Huddersfield!!!! Edit - just seen this article by CJ and it certainly pulls no punches - http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39169945
If CJ is open about the lack of respect for all staff then it means AN has lost the dressing room. What a shambles.
I don't think you've read it properly JM, he says the show a lack of respect to the coaching staff by not following instructions and playing their own individual way!
Some VERY interesting comments following this article - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...r_dreams_of_a_premier_league_return_1_4916685!!!
Good for Jerome for his comments, but to be honest he's stating the bleeding obvious, we haven't played like a team all season. Creating a good team spirit is not about one thing, it's about lots of little things that add up to something that really matters. No favourities, no players being given special treatment because of what they've done in the past, everyone being treated fairly, being realistic / pragmatic and not sentimental when selecting a team, giving honest feedback and praise both as a team & individuals etc, etc. That's down to primarily down to leadership both on and off the field, so that's AN & Martin. Both need to go. On a purely footballing level Martin maybe suitable squad cover at RB / CB, but we need to get rid of his influence on the team to give any new captain a fair crack of the whip and any new captain needs to be able to get into the first 11 on their football ability first, not because they're captain. We need to get rid of the deadwood and build a team for next season around our experience players that are both up for the fight and starting 11 material and our youth.
