So you are saying that you have better players than us and are more likely to win things? Is that why you always finish above us?

To the spurs fans saying it is no longer true that Arsenal are more likely to win silverware - what gives you this impression? As far as i can see we consisntently perform better than you, season after season. We are the team to grace a final most recently and we finish above you every year. I'm not one to have banter for the sak of banter, but you just sound dluded when you act as if Spurs have a much betetr chance of winning things than Arsenal.

Realisticaly Spurs are a very good team but Arsenal are clearly the better of the two.

As for Team-mates - this is all opinion as to who rates which players, but at Arsenal we had our captain and vice-captain in the world cup final and have internationals that don'ty play for a rubbish team like England :p But honestly - this is too subjective to decide who has the better team mates, and things liek attitude, behviour, success, current form etc al come into play.

Larger wages is obviously true at Arsenal due to Tottenhams wage cap.

The better manager argument again is subjective but AW has a better record and was voted top manager of the last decade so i'd assume he fairly easily takes this one.

    On Topic:

Adebayor is a very good player and if you can get the best out of him he will dominate for spurs. He will be the best striker at your club. Just gotta keep him in line and you've got a great signing there.

This sounds like a cunning plan from Citeh to disrupt our dressing room

Ensiluokkainen just have a look over the last decade at what Spurs have won and what Arsenal have won and then tell me why anyone would assume Spurs the more likely to win silverware? Then look at how many finals both clubs have been in (being in finals isn't winning them, but if you don't make the final you don't even have a chance to win), then look at our finishing league positions.

Only a fool would assume Spurs have a higher chance of silverware than Arsenal.

Well this is interesting. Adebayor can at least play in that 4-4-1-1 which 'Arry so desperately craves. Not sure whether it will be a good enough signing for Spurs to get higher than 6th though.

That you finish one place above us in the league every year does not make you more likely to win it - we are both a long way away from Man Utd and Chelsea. We have won a trophy more recently than you, we got further in the champions league than and played harder teams.

SW6 I very rarely comment on crude postings but I feel you as a moderator need to show respect to all posters.
If you don't like certain players fine but don't use that language.

I would say being the better team means that you have more chance of winning something. Tell me thats not right.

    @Wandering Yid

Consistently finishing above you in the league does actually suggest we are more likely to win it than you. What a silly statement from yourself.

As for doing better in the CL - you have been in it once compared to our 14 odd years in a row and we have on many occasions done better than yourselves. As for better competition you scraped past an average Milan and then got owned by Madrid. Whereas we lost a tight game to Barca who went on to win the cup... Yes much better than us...

And Stoke are more likely to win it than Norwich, doesn't mean they have a chance though. You couldn't win your CL group despite being the top seed, hence you had to play a big team. You haven't won anything in 6 years of bottling it and couldn't even beat Birmingham when you were desperate for a trophy. Players that want to win things don't go to Arsenal anymore, face it.

It may be "clear" to you. But, then, of course, you're a Gooner. I think the correct term is WERE the better team. I honestly feel that is no longer the case. In fact, with Fabregas & Nasri almost certainly gone, I could make a strong arguement that Spurs are now the better team.
Wenger is a fool. Even now, this very morning, he is trying to deny the blindingly obvious.

Totally forgot about that army of players that are determined not to win anything. What a foolish thing to say.

This season will be VERY interesting. Most likely the tightest one between Arsenal & Spurs for a while. It's gona be intense. Spurs haven't really improved over the close season, but you could say that Arsenal have weakened.

Ah, STAT. Arsenal fans are so boring, all they can ever talk about is statistics. You booed your own players on their end of season lap of honour and are on the verge of losing your captain and one of your best players, team's that aren't in decline don't tend to do those sorts of things.
