100% deliberate he wants him gone. The players want him gone this from a player at the club. He has to go now.
How disgusting (if true) for a player to deliberately miss a penalty to get the manager sacked, we all know LJ should be gone, but to do it in that manner is nothing short of disgusting.
I know I am going to get shot down but honestly, I simply don't believe a professional player would deliberately miss a penalty to get his manager the sack, it would be worth more than his career is worth and he would be branded a cheat, it's like throwing a game to have a win at your bookies. It's not true and I refuse to believe it.
Remember Tomlins alleged bust up with Johnson. He is not going to admit is he? If it was deliberate as suspected he may just have saved our season by speeding up juniors exit.
No way would a player deliberately miss a penalty. At the end of the day they are glory hunters and Tomlin would of loved to be the saviour of the day.
Wiz do you believe that a group of players at a football can get the manager the sack, it has happened many many times, as you know it's called player power, missing a penalty is simple, but missing by a mile tells you something, and I think Tomlin has that in his locker, if true, sad, very sad.
Kodjia refused to play in a game. Players will do all sorts to achieve their own ends and it has been proven.
Refusing to play is one thing deliberately throwing a game is another. You're starting to sound like RR
I'd be amazed if he missed it on purpose, having said that, if ever there was a player to do it it would be Tomlin. I think it's nonsense. I have a relatively decent stream of information and I'm 90% certain there has been no bust up between LJ and Tomlin. That's not to say there hasn't been an issue with Tomlin, I've heard a story or two about him and another player being particularly petulant, but nothing like what the rumours suggested. The interview between the two of them made it clear to me as well.
I am with Wiz on this one and if a player should deliberately miss a penalty then surely it would mean the virtual end of his career. Things that are happening with City are going off the rails big time and I can't remember a more vindictive season so when you consider our recent history that is saying something.
