Well deserved point for Bournemouth, they were brilliant to hang in there in the second half. United couldn't beat 10 man Bournemouth even with a dodgy penalty. I'm sure the media will look at that performance and criticise them...
Yeah, Bournemouth were dirty and lucky and....I wonder if it's done any harm to United's title challenge?
I was following this on the BBC's live commentary, and the degree of bias towards United was truly appalling. Neither side appears to have covered themselves in glory, today, and there is a suggestion that the FA may be forced to take retrospective action against a couple of players, including Ibra. It that the case - and if it transpires that Ibr ought to have been sent off - then the penalty miss will be seen as poetic justice. Did any of the BBC commentators and pundits mention that? Of course not.
Rooney claims he saw the mings stamp yet tv clear shows his back is completely to the incident #lyingfecker
How much would it cost to hire a Jose lookalike? Pay for a bit of plastic surgery and chuck him £1,000 a game. A bit of voice coaching and send him out for interviews after they lose There's got to be a profit in that instead of paying the fines. I tell you, it's a lookalike.
The game was ruined by Friend - who was a friend to nobody. His decisions for and against both sides were appalling; he lost control of the game and it had a detrimental effect on the play. It had been a good game up to the 40th minute. But let's get a few things straight: 1. Surman pushed Ibrahimovic to chest with two hands causing him to fall over - 2nd yellow, no doubt. 2. Mings deliberately stamped on Ibrahimovic - straight red, no doubt. 3. Ibrahimovic deliberately elbowed Mings in retaliation - straight red, no doubt. There is no debate to be had about these points. Any comment is a load of hot air - each incident couldn't be more straightforward.
Ibrahimovic threw Mings to the ground off the ball for no apparent reason - Booking. He then left his foot in on the same player, just before Mings stamped on him - Red for both. Surman's red was also very, very harsh.
Some big goals in the bottom half of the table, early on. Watford take the lead against Southampton through a Deeney goal. Llorente puts Swansea ahead against Burnley. Clucas grabs one for Hull against the snakes of Leicester.
Burnley awarded a penalty after one of their players clearly handles it. Is anyone left seriously doubting the need for a video referee?
Leicester and Southampton equalise, while Stoke take the lead against Boro. Really busy at the bottom today.
Arnautovic gets a second and buries Boro, continuing Stoke's bizarre form. Very good against teams that are below them in the table, but **** against anyone above them.
