PS I quite like Joshua...has no need to play a pantomime villain...does his talking in the ring and just takes care of business...
At my age, when I look at the heavyweight division and imagine what Ali, Frazier, Foreman, or Tyson would have done to any of them, it doesn't bear thinking about!...
This is as I see it. Two twats, one marginally less twatish than the other. Haye will win easily, I'm in better shape than Bellew ffs.
Yeah he seems like a normal fella, likes a laugh and is good enough to back up his trade without resorting to being a dick.
Can't stand either of them. Haye is a has-been with a big mouth and Bellew is a never-was whose name is only known because he was in a Rocky movie. Don't care who wins, as long as both of them get hurt, really, really badly.
Haye has come in too big to go a 12 round fight, he's completely reliant on his belief that he can take out Bellew within a couple of rounds. He's got the power and the speed to do so, but Bellew is no mug and he won't be the piss easy target that Haye seems to think he'll be imo. If I was having money on it I'd go for Haye within 3, but if Bellew can tie him up and take the fight beyond 5 I'd fancy him to grind Haye down.
Well he is undefeated....so what is it you suspect his chin of? He is no Amir Khan, now thats a man with a suspect chin.
Bellew is a current World Champion ffs. Anyone who follows boxing knows who he is. Your last sentence is a disgrace btw, boxing is a dangerous sport and the guys who get in the ring get my respect for doing so. I can't stand Haye but I'd never wish serious injury upon him.
He's only really been hit hard once, by Whyte, I think. He was pretty much out on his feet then. Tbf, it's a bit early to be sure, but the signs were there that if he got banged a good one, he could go.
He without doubt hits very hard. Hes had no opposition though. Im not convinced by his chin though. I hope he goes on to be a great. But ive a feeling even in this era someone is going to come along and beat him I keep hearing this and a tactic which a fighter with high energy and stamina should no doubt use. Bellew has shown nothing to me to suggest he can. He was knackered himself against Cleverly who is a non puncher. I dont see how Bellew is going to soak up huge shots from Haye and do to him what he struggled to do against a fighter who started at welterweight. Ive a feeling is Haye is not going to come out blazing and will pick his shots. If he does this I think his stamina will be more than enough to beat Bellew at any moment in any way including points. If Haye does punch himself out id be suprised if Bellew isnt anything but gassed himself.
Means **** all in boxing these days mate. How many world champions are there now? ****ing 4? Half of each division is a ****ing "Champion" of some description or other. Total bollocks. The injury sentence is to be taken with a pinch of salt.....a tiny pinch, Dont want either of them to get brain damaged. Just hurt enough to humble the **** out of them.
I think to say he's a nobody is a tad unfair when he won a world title at Goodison mate. If you're a boxing fan you know who is is, simple as. Tonight is the biggest payday of his career, a fight engineered by him and the cash will secure him and his families future. He's a bright bloke is Tony and I'd love to see him unravel Haye, who's a complete gobshite and has only come back into the game as his movie career dream didn't happen and his wife ****ed him in the divorce courts last year. Hayes career is over if Tony can somehow beat him tonight
