I'm not fickle or classless, I just understand what he was doing to our club. He was ruining it but you wouldn't know anything about that. All you see is someone that achieved the impossible but you don't see how he has systematically destroyed that this season. I've just copied this off JA606. You'll note that others are repeating exactly the same. "Ranieri made some key changes, unfortunately he just decided to not only tinker with his tinkering (successfully so last season) but he tried to change the whole foundations of what this tinkering was built on with the assumption that our individual players were good enough and also, with regard to certain criteria, changed things that didn't need changing irrelevant of any long time plan. I don't think any of it was done with bad/arrogant intentions, but ultimately changing something that works is a huge gamble and he limited resources (quality of players) we had, has cost us and unfortunately, Ranieri." "Savage writing articles stating there were absolutely no changes to tactics/formation of personnel against Liverpool and it was just because they ran around more. Every Leicester fan can see it was a difference in tactics but the experts can't. I can't take anything he says seriously after that." So two comments from two different people saying exactly the same as me but believe what you want to believe.
The thing you, and the other glory hunting turds seem to miss is, Raneiri did something remarkable last season. He got a team who are nowhere near the best, to win the PL. He got those players to do something none of them will ever do again. He completely defied all expectations of the real fans, the players and the footballing world. He achieved something your club is unlikely to do again, along with a lot of other clubs, ours included. Your players had already started to play to their actual standard and level this season, rather than the heights Ranieri got them to last season, when he was sacked. Given all of that, the very least they could have done was let him see out the CL campaign, something else you're extremely unlikely to ever get in to again. If you think Shakey will save you, you're better off heading back to "supporting" Man U or Liverpool, or whoever it was you "supported" before the Foxes achieved something remarkable.
There's a number of posts on this forum calling you and your club classless ungrateful ****s. Even Lineker, a hero to proper Foxes fans, called it shameful. I know which I believe more.
The A594 which runs from the railway station to the Leicester Rugby Union ground is also known as Tigers Way (obviously named after us and not the rugby tossers)
D did you really expect to push on this season?? You lived out a fairytale , in fairness if we won the premier league I would give up football because it would never be the same again , if you expected to build and become a European force then you were all off your rockers
I'm not a glory hunter, I went to all but four games in League One and over 900 in total so stop embarrassing yourself. What you obviously don't understand is Ranieri took over a side that had won seven out of nine and were on a roll. We had developed our style of football under Pearson and Ranieri continued it. He tinkered slightly with formation and went from 3-5-2 to 4-4-2 but other than that kept it the same. He came up with many tactical master classes last season and yes did the unimaginable but he inhereited the perfect job. This is why we won the league. This season he's changed away from the style Pearson developed and tried to instill his own and the results are the embarrassing performances we've served up all season. Monday we went back to Pearson's style, the style that won us the league and surprise surprise we play like Champions again. Ranieri lost his job because he tried to change things and had he stayed we would have gone down and that is not acceptable. There is no room for sentiment in football. I love Ranieri and I initially blamed the players until I realised what was going on behind the scenes and now it's blatantly clear he had to go. Whether you like that or not I don't care.
Push on? How can you push on from winning the league? I certainly didn't expect us to be in a relegation battle and no way should we be having spent £83m. Now he's gone and we've gone back to what we know we'll climb the table.
You can push on by becoming serial winners and serial champions league winners ... That was obviously never going to happen , but your fans appeared to want to happen , you haven't been a mid table club for years and years , wasn't it only a few years ago you were in league one? Last season was a freak , you are back to your level now fighting with the likes of us , welcome home
I think your problem here, is that you're a bit of a **** and it's affecting the way people respond. Hope this helps.
Ignoring all that bollocks, here's a few vids of us beating Leicester. By the way, I think it'll be 1-1.
I find your rational quaint.) We hardly had a team, had a caretaker manager, no threat to anyone and yet, we beat you. The Champions of England, lost to Hull City. You are posting the same ****e, that your players believed last time the teams met and that is why we beat you. Your team is a bunch of average players who succeeded against the odds to drag themselves on from bottom of the PL right through to becoming the Champions. Football history. Add 83M and the difference is that you still have players who are average, but now believe that they are amongst best in the world. Today is about surviving, the fact is that playing the current Champions should make us worried, it doesnt. Pearson was a **** and his tactics were to bore the living daylights out of the opposition and then say **** all to anyone about it. The reason he was successful with you was because he let the players do what they wanted.
