I do hope that is true, I would be very happy indeed if we weren't sold.

She must have been moved by her father's flag going round our part of the stadium and the way that all the Saints fans stood, clapped and cheered - it certainly moved me. Even with the loss I bet she enjoyed herself and the experience of hearing all those Saints fans also enjoying themselves surely settled in her heart. I hope...

I love dogs but I don't want the responsibility of owning one.

Personally I have little doubt that she has enjoyed being part of the club over the last six years. She wouldn't still be the owner and attending games if she were not.
Yet as she said herself in that statement a few weeks ago, the club needs investment to move forward and if she is unable or not prepared to do that, then I can't blame her.

Selfishly I would love her to remain our owner as I feel it's safe in her bosom and the long term security of the club is most important, but if she doesn't want to pick up **** anymore(back to the dog metaphor folks) and only go for walks then so be it.

Slightly off topic but I saw on SW last night that some on there are convinced the flag at Wembley was a different one to the original.

Anyone know for sure, can't find a pic of the one at Wembley (I did take one but had to take all my photos off my phone)

We know she has affection for the club or she would it sold it without a care, but it seems like she wants to maintain her father's legacy as well. She may have an impossible task finding a rich buyer who will leave things as they are and yet throw money at the club.

Some of you are mad. If she sells she she sells if she doesn't she doesn't. I don't get why some are so attached to a owner. Yes she has been great for us, but if she is still actively trying to sell she wants to move on. If it happens we thank her and move on ourselves.

I don't know the lady, but she is probably very nice. However, for me it is more who she isn't rather than who she is. Most people out there who want to buy a football club are idiots, liars, fantasists, crooks, or mad....sometimes all at once. .

It's cuddly-benign-dictator-syndrome, or better the devil you know. Actually, that's not fair. People are just afraid of change and that it might all go to pot under a new owner. Katharina has been good, but as you say, if she sells she sells. If it results in Saints winning trophies and championships then bring it on. With the present board and system it's unlikely to do anything except provide Saints with a lot more money to spend and more stability, ie no more mass exodus of players. Now that's something that's preferable.

The trouble is we have only to look down the road to see what could happen if you do not get the right sort of buyer in.........Pompey had numerous buyers and some very dubious. You can understand the fans anxiety as we do not want to disappear like they have. It is sad to believe Katrina is prepared to sell the club I guess.

If I recall correctly, under the current ownership we recently came very close to winning a trophy.

Very close to winning something won't mean a thing in history.

Like I said before, it's not like we are recieving bids and Kat doesn't want to sell or seek investment. She is actively looking to sell all or most of her share. So it will happen.

I suppose if you are not a footballing person, Kat has a lot of money tied up in Saints. It's not as if it is like money in the bank that you can ignore....a football club requires attention and she may prefer not to be involved at all. She won't sell us down the river because of her father....which is what is probably delaying the sale.

It's not an attachment in terms of we all think she is a really nice person. People want her to stay because she has done so well for us and because compared to a lot of owners she actually knows what she is doing. People simply feel the club is safe in her hands, what's wrong with that?
