Look like Snodgrass is in trouble with the law http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-39156677
So Leeds winning 2-1 - but they're out of our reach anyway. ☺ Edit - HMMM, Wet Sham or Canaries - now let me see!!! - http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/we...tition-in-race-for-prolific-european-striker/ He'll DEFINITELY be at CR next season then!!!
Not a chance Tosun would go to a Championship club! Unless they spent the kind of money Wolves have on players. Which we wont. If he's on the move, it will be to a top league club in some country.
This is Leeds best chance of a return to the big time. They look very strong, and seem to be on a roll. I know a lot of people on here hate Leeds, but I like to see the fallen big clubs come back.
Yea, I was just reading that. I think if they were going to trial it, it should be done in the League cup. Most clubs don't take it seriously anyway. Bit risky to experiment in one of the most prestigious cups in world football.
I'm not a big fan of Leeds and they have some pretty naff fans (as do all clubs!!). We were in the Queen of Iceni in 2011 before the game when both sets of fans were allowed in there and a Norwich fan was winding up a Leeds fan - he got thrown out just as he was about to throw a punch a the Norwich fan. I'd be quite happy to see Leeds go back up and I'm not sure if Brighton will slip up, so I'd like the play-off final to be between Leeds and Huddersfield. It's too tight to call in the bottom three in the PL, but I'd quite like to see the three teams who are there now stay there!!!! I'm not too sure there's much of a risk involved IMO, but time will tell.
After a season of embarrassment from the rivals Newcastle fans must be getting, I could see the reverse next season. Newcastle in the top flight, Boro and Sunderland in the Chumpionship.
Don't know about the other one though. Hull or Palace maybe. If Leicester get Roy, or stick with Shakespeare maybe them.
I'm fairly sure Leicester will escape - weren't they 'nailed on' for relegation T this stage of the season 2 seasons ago??? Just seen that Surman has been sent off for 2 yellows Judy over 10 minutes apart.
Loserpool and Newcastle both winning 2-0. I can't see anyone catching the Magpies for the title and it's getting quite tight for 2nd and a shame the Terriers couldn't close the gap today with the Seagulls getting stuffed earlier. Edit - Interesting stat from the BBC website - Liverpool 3-1 Arsenal Liverpool's results against the top six this season: v Arsenal 4-3 (away) + 3-1 (home) wins. v Man Utd 0-0 (home) + 1-1 (away). v Spurs 1-1 (away) + 2-0 (home) win. v Chelsea 2-1 (away) win + 1-1 (home). v Man City 1-0 (home) win. So unbeaten against the top 6!!!!!
Bit rich, the Burnley manager Moaning about the final goal. He thinks there is a push when he went up for the header for the winner. You see those goals plenty of times a week. What you don't see, is a Burnley player handballing it, then getting given the penalty. Like Burnley did for their first goal. It's annoying when the interviewer lets the manager moan about a 50/50 decision and doesn't say "but what about your first goal, which blatantly never was?!"
Just seen some of the incidents from the ManUre V Bournemouth game and I seriously hope that both Mings and Ibrahimovic get lengthy bans. What Basil did against Rotherham was a mere slap by comparison and his subsequent 3 match ban has cost us our rightful place in the play-off places!!
It was amazing. Zlatan stamps on Mings, then dives for a foul, as if to say his stamp was a foul on him!! Then Mings jumps over his diving body and stamps on his head! Then in a later incident, Zlatan aggressively elbows Mings in the face!!! The only person to get sent off was Surman, who gently pushed Zlatan, Zlatan crumples to the floor like a bit of wet bread, and Surman gets a second yellow. Astounding Refereeing again.
Wouldn't it be good if football referees were like this? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/39170280
I've just been watching Aberdeen V Partick Thistle in the Scottish Cup and Joe Lewis actually came for a corner to take the pressure off his defenders. . At 6ft 6in, he's very tall and of course started his career at NCFC!!!
BT Sport extends TV rights for the Champions League and Europa League until 2021 in a deal worth £1.2bn with no 'live' games or highlights free to air on terrestrial TV. Both finals will however be free to air but only via social media platforms. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/39177581
I might start to care when we qualify for one of them! OK actual only really if we qualify for the CL, the other one I could barely care about even if we were in it. A proper turd of a contest was made when they started dumping CL rejects into it. Bah!
The FA has charged both players with violent conduct and let's hope they both get at least 3 match bans - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39182905
Sounds like 3 games standard, but Mings 3 games might not be enough. Wouldn't be surprised if Zlatan got 1 or 2 games, and Mings got 4 or 5.
