Good player, but I think rumour mongers are adding Saints to AFCB possibilities just because we're 35 miles apart. Me, I'd take a good look at Billings. Especially if Huddersfield miss promotion.
Really have missed Virgil. I don't normally get too wrapped up in these things, but watching him play just reminds me how much we've missed his presence. I thought Maya and Jack did very well last Sunday, considering how relatively new it all is to Jack. Especially Yoshida, I thought he protected Stephens well. But I don't think United would got as much as a sniff had Virgil been partnering Maya. I'll give them that free-kick goal, but the other two would have been defended.
Telegraph reporting Bournemouth want Ake back in the summer but we are also in for him. I'd be very pleased if we could beat our neighbours to his signing. Very good player and the right model for Saints, in terms of age and how he conducts himself. Would Chelsea let him go though?
