I wouldn't say Spurs have made massive strides.
They have won **** all.
They probably have a better squad than any other Spurs squad in my lifetime, but I don't think you can say they have made massive strides until they actually win something.

 

The Gunners want manager Arsene Wenger to make a decision on his future by the end of this month.(Sun)

I don't believe for one minute that the board would ask Wenger to leave, nor do I believe that Wenger wants to leave.

However, I do think he will be seeking confirmation from his board that he has their confidence going forward, and in spite of what the fans want.

 

Alternatively... The Sun is just writing its' normal speculative bollox when it's short of any real stories ...

 

If Wenger signs the deal that's on the table for him, there'll be Gooner heads falling off all over the shop.

It'll be an absolute whinge fest on TS.

I think he's got a job for as long as he wants it there. He doesn't rock the boat and scream about not having the resources of Chelsea, City, or even L'pool. Whereas a new, ambitious manager would start demanding significant funds to try and mount a real challenge.

The board seems happy with top four. And Whinger seems happy to accommodate them.
