ooooh im so glad footy season is back again.....my workmates say my eyes have got their sparkle back and their is a spring in my step now footy is back again!! it really does effect me quite a lot off season!!! how are you all this morning?? nervous for tomorrow?? any score predictions??
Morning Wortley off to one of my sisters 40th birthday so I am hoping to get up london early enough to listen to it on the radio. I know its sound silly saying its a must win game 2nd game in but its important we get a win for Graysons sake
Morning SWW & Morning All Got me giddy head on waiting for the morrow. Meeting my mates in t'Scabby Taps at 11am and will be putting the world to rights over a few cheeky Tetleys prior to the game. The team's confidence seemed to improve once we'd made it 2-2 the other night, so if they can start like they finished on Tuesday I'll be happy. I'm not one for predictions, but I'd like us to try and keep a clean sheet for a change.
Bucks, LIW, Malv...morning gorgoeus people!!!! well...we all couldnt weait for footy season and its certainly brought the excitement back into out lives!!
Morning wakey, Malv Love the new Avatar BTW not sure about Brown being dropped but completley agree with O'Brien being benched
Morning all. Last week I got to spend a lovely day watching Colchester beat Preston 4-2, expensive day out, but so glad I went to that instead of the Leeds game. Couldn't even watch the highlights of the Southampton game and deleted the match recording as soon as I got home, but i've heard how bad we were and that coupled with the poor defensive performance against Bradford of all sides, I shouldn't feel too optimistic, yet I am. 2-1 Leeds.
O'Brien looked like he knew his time was up as he trooped off on Tuesday* *This obviously means he'll start
What do you make of the ground & have they sorted out a transport link yet or is it still the fricking bus to and from the NPC car park at the train station?
The ground wasn't too bad apart from the lack of beer options, bottled Stella, or Tennants Special, which was some kind of lager/ale hybrid that you had to chew before swallowing. Not sure about the transport, we went on a mini pub crawl from the station, so walked, then got a cab back from the ground.
They done a lovely bottle of cider last time i was there Grounds solar powered as well which is pretty clever
Didn't realise it was solar powered. Found it a bit odd that we had to buy tickets from the ticket office, despite the fact that the turnstiles are manned and not electronic.
