Some of the Brighton defence passing was horrible.Won't last long in the PL if they don't tighten up! The equalizer......well,I don't think I've ever seen a screw up goal like that one! but then I saw Soldado hit the crossbar while standing under it.I'll never forget that!!!!
I suppose it was fate that Leicester would end up with Shakespeare managing them given that Richard III's remains were found in the city. Inevitable.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39126425 The sword of Damocles hangs over one of football's most ancient and beloved clubs. Years of mismanagement and poor player recruitment have driven nail after nail into a poundstretcher coffin. I highly doubt having a PL club move in to a 60,000 all-seater stadium half an hour's walk away from Brisbane Road helped matters in the slightest. Frankly, West Ham should be forced to cover Orient's debts. They've paid out more or less the same sum for Andy Carroll to sit on a hospital bed for 4 years, so why not?
Huddersfield's manager is basically a budget Klopp, isn't he? Fielding a severely weakened side, so this could go very, very badly.
I feared for them when Barry Hearn sold the club. But to see them now, in such a mess and owned by people who should never be let anywhere a football club, is very sad. I've had some great Saturday afternoons at Brisbane Road and sincerely hope they are able to find a way out of this awful situation.
