hope they dont let him anywhere near the methylated spirits pity any fooker who needs the kiss of life
Thanks for the advice all. Got to say I am not surprised by any of it as it is the same advice I would have given in this situation. I think it will be a case of either going down the next day or not at all. My brother and his wife both drive, they will have to share it. I missed our last play off final at Wembley due to a stellar piece of shafting by a good mate at the time so not missing this one. Of course I am confident that we will go up automatically so this whole problem will never happen and I can go and enjoy my holiday safe in the knowledge that we are back where we belong and a good two leagues between us and the Wallies.
To be fair you better make it the day after the day after....can't be driving to Cornwall still half cut
Hemase simple mate. You just won a Wembley ticket at work and have to go, which means everyone will have to travel Friday night down to Devon and stay in a premier Lodge. Someone must be able to drive local on Saturday to take everyone to the spot, but you'll be on a train to London and not back until either late Sat night or Sunday morning. ITS YOUR JOB
Might be a politician but I hope Doc is not a travel agent, that plan would put them in the wrong county and me with them on the Monday when you are all enjoying the play off final.
I feel your pain hemase, i've had a similar dilemma, my Mrs and some friends have booked us a holiday to USA leaving on 8th April and returning on the morning of April 23rd, just before the 4th round(against Watford) i noticed that is cup semi-final weekend with the games to be played at Wembley on the 22nd and 23rd, i just shugged and thought we won't beat Watford and then the next round we won't beat Leicester but we did!!!, the mind still tells me we won't beat Spurs but we know how wrong i can be, so my question do you think the FA and the Police will allow Millwall to play on the Saturday evening(after last time) or do you think it will be the sunday afternoon at Wembley with a happy Ringo in attendance?
